sarah king studio
project director: Jeffrey P. Turko
Project Text:
This small installation project was done for the studio of Sarah King Jewellery. I was asked to create an installation that would dynamically change the workshop / studio into a showroom for the annual open studios that takes place twice a year. This was done on an almost none exsistant budget. A new hung surface volume was produced that started to sculpt the generic space of the studio. This volume was made of vertically oriented strips of paper threded and hung on cables. Varried lighting and volumetric effects were produced by the installation which would dynamicly react to the changes of air flow in the space as people moved through it.
