icelandic ambassadors residence
project designers: Jeffrey P. Turko, Gudjon T. Erlendsson
Design competition for the Icelandic ambassadors residence in Berlin. Within a very strict brief and design requirements the aim was to create synergy between the landscape and the built volume. This was done through a banded rhythm or order that organized the the house into 4 programmatic areas and then lead to the forming of a new terraced landscape & garden.
